For food shopping:

The Food Centre (Spar) in Lochcarron, Is less than 10 minutes by car and is very well stocked.

The Lochcarron garage is a little further through the village and also has a range of food and other items.

There is a medium sized Co-operative in Kyle of Lochalsh 45 minutes away.

Inverness has a wider range of shops including a 24 hour Tesco's, Aldi's, Lidi's etc and is about an hour and a half drive from the bunkhouse.

Tesco's also offers a delivery service, but please ensure that someone will be in at the bunkhouse when you book your delivery.

For Leisure facilities:

Kyle of Lochalsh have a swimming pool and gym, and their facilities are around a 45 minute drive away.

There are also leisure facilities in Inverness, including squash courts and a climbing wall.

Fuel:

There are 2 places to find fuel locally- the Lochcarron garage and the Pace 24hour unmanned pump opposite the Spar in Lochcarron.

Medical Facilities:

The Ferguson Medical center is located just south of the main road through Lochcarron and is open from 09:00 - 13:00 and 14:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday except Wednesday afternoons which are covered by the practice in Torridon.
